OUR HISTORY
The Breath of Life and First Coast International Churches, two sister congregations of the Southeastern Conference Association of Seventh-day Adventists in Jacksonville, FL, explored the idea of merging in late spring 2018. After numerous meetings, discussions, and lots of prayer seeking God’s will, the members of both churches came together in a joint meeting on August 26, 2018 and took a favorable action to merge as one congregation. Since then, we've discovered that we're better together than we could ever be apart. Both churches bring much to the table to make Christ known through the proclamation of the Advent message and develop His disciples to use their gifts and abilities to advance God’s purposes in Jacksonville, FL.
The church adopted the name “New Life International” because we believe that no matter who you are or where you come from, God can and will change YOUR life!
We exist to love and lead all people to life in Jesus Christ.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We gather in small groups at 10:30 AM to discuss the week's lesson from our current Bible study guide.
At 11:15 AM we meet in the Sanctuary for our weekly Worship Experience to praise the Lord, our CREATOR and REDEEMER. Our service lasts about 1 1/2 hours long. During this time, we sing songs, pray together, and open up the Bible while listening to a message about Jesus who can make a difference in your life.
You will find an atmosphere with a diverse group of people from different age groups, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Some like to come dressed with suits and ties (formal), while others in jeans and shirts (relaxed). Just come and hang out with us on Saturday mornings.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura— the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
New Life International Church is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a world-wide organization with more than 19 million members in countries around the world.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed of faith and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be in harmony with the teachings of the Holy Scriptures.
